Blue Ox Patriot Proportional Braking System Installation - 2015 Dodge Durango- Video
Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency portable proportional Breaking System, part number BRK2012. Here's what the Patriot system looks like when it's installed in your vehicle. As you can see it's clamped on to the break pedal in there, but one thing that's really nice about this one is that this is the only wire that has to come through into the cab. You don't have to tap into vacuum lines and other wires as you do with some other systems that are more permanent on your vehicle, and that also allows you to, if need be all you'd have to do is have a different break away switch and wire and you could switch this to a different vehicle. One difference between this system and other systems that are similar to it out on the market is that this one is compatible with vehicles that have a power break assist where some of the others are not. Another nice feature about this one is that with this right here, if you plug this into a 12-volt outlet that's inside your RV. more

SMI Air Force One Braking System Installation - 2005 Dodge Ram Pickup- Video
Today on our 2005 Dodge Ram 2500, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the SMI Air Force One supplemental braking system for motor homes with air brakes, part number SM99243. Here's what it looks like once it's installed, simply plug in your air and comes on. Once your air hose is disconnected, your system is turned off, plug it in and now your system is live. This is your breakaway switch so if your tow bar was to come unattached from the vehicle it would turn on and that would apply the brakes in the vehicle and let it coast to a stop on the side of the road. As you apply your air brakes in your coach, it pulls the pedal down. This system is proportional so when you're braking on your RV is at half your vehicle is at half and the further you go down the more brake you're going to apply to your towed vehicle. As you can see your backup camera as we apply our brakes, our red LED lights up that's on our rear-view mirror. more

Blue Ox Patriot Proportional Braking System Installation - 2013 Dodge Ram- Video
Today on our 2013 Ram 1500 we'll be installing the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System, part number BRK2012. Here's the breakaway switch that's provided with our install kit. For this application there's not a lot of ideal spots to mount it. We're going to need to bend the attachment point so we can mount it here, inside the front bumper, backed to a steel flange. The lead provided with the install kit will connect to our breakaway switch; the other end will get routed into the cab of the vehicle and ultimately connect to our portable braking system. We'll go ahead and take the two post lead, feed it down through the engine compartment and ultimately to the breakaway switch. Here you can see our lead where we fed it underneath the vehicle. Now I'll go ahead and route it in behind the switch and out to where we can make our connection. more

Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System Installation - 2009 Dodge Ram Pickup- Video
All right today on this 2009 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 Series Quad Cab were going to install part number RM-8700. This is a Roadmaster Invisibrake Supplemental Braking System. All right, to start off our install were going to go ahead and remove the front seat. There are four bolts we have to remove, two in the front and two in the back. Once we have those removed we can go ahead and tilt the seat back then well disconnect the electrical connectors. Theres only one connector thats active and the other plug we just need to simply pry off and set off to the side. Then we can go ahead and pull out our seat. more
